There is something about this smoothie that gives the satisfaction of a milkshake but without any dairy or milk substitutes. Full of vitamin C, the ground cloves add a touch of warmth and spice.
NOTE: 1 cup orange juice equates to roughly 4 oranges, squeezed.
- 1 cup orange juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 ripe banana, peeled
- 1 cup chopped apple, frozen
- A pinch of ground cloves
- In a blender, whizz all of the ingredients until smooth.
