Vegan, dairy free, nut free, sugar free and high in calcium

Chia seeds are fantastic little power houses full of essential fatty acids (omega 3’s) so they really are one of nature’s superfoods. This is a really quick and easy chocolate malted chia pudding which uses the nut free chocolate malt recipe which is made with calcium rich sesame seeds for an extra nutritional boost.

If you want this for breakfast, make it the night before and leave it in the fridge overnight so it’s ready for breakfast.

Note: This will keep for 2 days if covered in the fridge.

Vegan Chocolate Malt Chia Pudding
Prep time
Yield: 2 servings
  • ½ cup of chia seeds
  • 2 cups of chocolate malt drink
  • Cacao powder for dusting
  1. Pour the chocolate malt drink over the chia seeds and wait for 2 hours for the chia seeds to absorb the liquid. You can also leave this in the fridge overnight.
  2. Top with a dusting of cacao powder.
